
The ground was redeveloped in 2008 doubling its capacity to 25,600 and over the last two years in addition to Munster Rugby matches the stadium has hosted International Rugby, International Football and Concerts.
The Thomond Park Brand is immediately recognised by rugby followers across Ireland, and wider afield, the name and brand appeals to the supporters of Munster Rugby but also lovers of the game across the World who want to associate themselves with an iconic venue and the history that it represents.
Products to be offered by BrandCo will include:
- Polo's & tees
- Jackets, hooded tops and polar fleeces
- Shirts and Trousers
The range will initially offer 3 separate collections being CLASSIC, VINTAGE and CONNOISSEUR and will be available in Men's and Ladies. A supporting range of Children's and Infants products across selected styles and Collections will also be introduced in future seasons
All products will carry prominent 'Thomond Park - Official Merchandise of Munster Rugby' identification along with a newly designed Official Licensed swing tag for immediate recognition by consumers at retail. The latest range Products will be available at retail from January 2012.
